This Friday, June 19, most Liberty Mutual and Safeco U.S. employees will take a day off to reflect on the recent incidents of racial injustice and protests across the U.S. We chose this Friday because it is Juneteenth, the oldest holiday that commemorates the end of slavery. We believe this reflection will help us continue on our journey to become an even stronger and more inclusive company.

As with all paid days off, a small portion of our team will continue working on Friday to ensure we can meet the needs of agents and customers. For the shortest hold times, we encourage you to hold any non-emergency calls for the following week.

Thank you for your understanding as we continue to navigate this unprecedented period.
